Kraes is a reference to being picky or selective, in Danish “kræsen”, in Swedish “kräsen” and or in Norwegian “kresen”. It also refers to the danish idiom – to “kræse”. It means to make an extra effort, take extra care, to deliver something especially good, beautiful with refined service.

The agency is founded by Peter Bak & Mette Hege Bak Buanes who both have a strong background within design, fashion, retail and sales from brands such as Fritz Hansen, Oakley, Adidas, Reebok, Helly Hansen, Dockers by Levi Strauss and Tommy Hilfiger. The company is based in Copenhagen and represent brands from all over the world mainly in Denmark.
